This weekend’s British Hard Enduro Championship round at Gilgarran, Cumbria, delivered everything you’d expect from a true hard enduro test. And for Triple D Motosport it was a weekend of high stakes as team rider Burts Crayston powered his way to two hard-fought 3rd place finishes on both Saturday and Sunday.

Round 3 of the UK Hard Enduro Series brought riders face-to-face with a proper old-school challenge. Forget gimmicks—this was a raw, physical ride through some of Cumbria’s toughest terrain amongst amazing scenery.
The course featured a classic mix of open moorland, tricky woodland sections with slippery roots and greasy cambers, tight corners, technical rock gardens and flat-out fields.
The terrain was relentless, testing not just the bikes but each riders mindset and skill repertoire. But this is the kind of event where Burts thrives!

Saturday kicked off with a brutal hard enduro sprint, and Burts was immediately on pace. He kept his focus lap after lap, battling through slick cambers and technical trails. It came down to the wire in the final sprint, where a small slip cost him 2nd place, but he still secured an impressive 3rd.

Sunday saw a full on hard enduro format, extending the physical and mental challenge after the racey sprints from the day before. Burts was consistent and smooth through the worst (best?) the course had to offer. Burts again showed his stamina and determination, pushing through and for the second day running, taking the 3rd step at the end of the day.

Two days of hard graft, two podium finishes. Burts proved again that he’s a serious contender in the championship, and that Triple D Motosport is competing at the top level. With his pace, consistency, and sheer determination, we’re confident even bigger results are coming as the season continues.
