Burts takes the top step at the British Enduro Champs in Wales

The fast dry conditions in Wales this weekend allowed Burts to show his strengths.

Triple D Motorsport rider Burts Crayston delivered a standout performance at the weekend ripping it up at the Plews Tyres British Extreme Enduro Championship Round 4 in Ebbw Vale in South Wales. Also riding this weekend was fellow team rider Dan Peace who was in slightly cautious mood with the Scottish 6 days approaching next week.

Set against a backdrop of unusually dry conditions, the Welsh course ran faster than riders normally expect. While the venue is often known for tougher, more technical terrain, the quicker track this time around played perfectly into Burts’ strengths, allowing him to showcase his pace throughout the day.

Burts found the fast dry conditions right up his alley at Ebbw Vale in Wales for the British Enduro Championships.

Battle At The Front

Burts entertained the crowd with a series of thrilling battles with Bert Boam. The pair traded positions throughout the race with both riders showing incredible speed, determination and skill, putting on a fantastic display for spectators and creating some of the best racing of the day.

The demanding course still proved a stern test across all classes, particularly for the lower groups, while providing a solid challenge for the Pro field. Credit goes to RAW Enduro, who delivered a strong first event at what remains a fantastic venue for British Extreme Enduro competition.

Dan Keeps the Peace

For teammate Dan Peace, the weekend was approached with a different mindset. With the Scottish Six Days Trial just around the corner, Dan wisely opted for a measured ride, focusing on staying sharp while avoiding unnecessary risks ahead of one of the biggest events of the season.

Eyes On Portugal

With little time to celebrate the Welsh win it's straight into the next event on a slow boat to Santander before driving on to Portugal. Round 2 of the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship, the legendary Extreme XL Lagares, takes place from 1–3 May.

So on this little round robin trip from the British champs to the Worlds confidence is high but an entirely different test awaits. Follow Burts on Instagram and keep up with the action, or catch a few of my own posts from the road on Facebook.
