799cc Of Proper Fun. At the heart of the 790 DUKE is KTM's 799cc LC8c parallel-twin engine, putting out 95 PS and 87 Nm of torque.

Which is plenty.

But the numbers only tell half the story. The 790 isn't about stuffing the biggest engine possible into a naked bike and hoping for the best. It's about having the right amount of power in a lightweight, compact package that you can actually chuck around and enjoy.

• 13.5-litre tank – because stopping for fuel when you've found a cracking road is just annoying.

And then there's the styling.

It's a DUKE. Subtle isn't really the point. Angular bodywork, exposed frame and that unmistakable KTM stance make the 790 look like it's ready to cause trouble even when it's parked outside a café.
